Job Description We are looking for a candidate that works for our company as a Java Consultant/Developer in projects of our customers in Luxembourg. The candidate will be responsible for the software design and implementation in the following areas with consulting or development focus:  Java Middleware  Reporting Engines and Reports  BPM and Workflow  Frontends: Eclipse RCP, Web He / she will communicate with the stakeholders to gather requirements, structure and formulate them in a software project, implement the requirements and test the software together with the end users. Responsibilities  Understand and analyse business problems together with Business Analysts  Design of the software in a modelling language  Planning of the realization (Agile or traditional)  Software implementation  Software test and support of the User Acceptance Tests Basic Qualifications  8+ years of experience as a Java Developer or Architect  Degree in Computer Information Systems or any related field from an accredited institution  Proven skills of transferring business requirements into UML based specifications  Ability to create software design specifications for the fields mentioned above  Up-to-date knowledge of Java frameworks and design patterns  Proven skill to write quality code in Java  Understanding of the software test cycle and ability to write test specifications  Ability to manage the development environment (JIRA, Eclipse, Maven, GIT, SVN, Nexus, Hudson, Junit, SeleniumHQ, Oracle, …) and the software stack  Ability to work in dynamic teams and to hold deadlines  Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and IT teams Preferred Qualifications  Knowledge of business domains (Finance, Healthcare, Logistics, …)  Knowledge of the Java frameworks Hibernate, Spring (Integration, Web Services, MVC, Security), Web Development / Rich Client Applications, Drools, BIRT, EclipseRCP, AngularJS  Knowledge of Java Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, tc Server)  Certifications in Java, SQL, UML  Knowledge in PMI, Prince2, ITIL, TOGAF, CMMI, BPM(L), ARIS, SOA  Languages: English, French, German
